Big Peat The Sweden Edition is a small batch Islay blended malt Scotch whisky from Douglas Laing, bottled at 48% in a 50cl bottle. It is not chill-filtered and has no added colouring.
The nose has damp peat, bonfire smoke and ash, with a faint cola note underneath. The palate is lively and direct, with sharp chilli, fresh ginger and black pepper. The finish is medium to long, led by charcoal, bonfire ash and the saltiness of Islay.
