Big Peat is a blended malt from Douglas Laing, made up of Islay whiskies in a 70cl bottle.
The blend draws on four Islay distilleries. Caol Ila adds a touch of sweetness, Bowmore brings balance, Ardbeg gives an earthy, medicinal note and Port Ellen adds elegance.
Douglas Laing describes the result as an oily whisky with remarkable presence in the mouth.
