Black Bottle 10 Year Old is a blended whisky matured in American oak casks. It has a slightly smoky heart and a strong Islay influence, in keeping with the brand's tradition. The blend pays homage to the 1998 Black Bottle that came before it, and keeps that release's delicate fruity notes while being maltier and woodier. The nose offers honey, fruit and vanilla. The palate brings sweet, rich oak, soft fruits and smoky spice.
