Black Bottle is a blended Scotch whisky in a 70cl bottle at 40% ABV. Its recipe is still inspired by the original created by Gordon Graham, and it uses a high proportion of malts.
Peated malts from Islay, including smoky Moine from Bunnahabhain, are balanced with unpeated malts and grains matured in ex-bourbon casks.
It is described as smoky and spicy, with oak, florals and sizzling bacon. Dry woodsmoke carries hidden sea salt and honey, and wood smoke and charred toffee linger.
