Black Bottle Island Smoke Blended Scotch Whisky (70cl, 46.3%)

This is a blended Scotch whisky from Black Bottle, bottled at 46.3% in a 70cl bottle. The recipe is inspired by the original created by Gordon Graham and uses a high proportion of malts. Peated malts from Islay, including Moine from Bunnahabhain, are balanced with unpeated malts and grains matured in ex-bourbon casks. The notes describe spice, island peat and maritime, medicinal tones. Black pepper and sea salt meet sweet cereal, vanilla and cardamom, and the finish is long and warming with oak spice, smoke and dry sea salt.
