Black Bottle Original (70cl, 40%)

Black Bottle Original is a blended Scotch whisky with a smoke-edged character and an influence from the Highlands and Islands. It is bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. The brand has a long history and today uses alligator charred casks and virgin oak finishing alongside its traditional approach. The nose is fresh and floral, with newly sawn oak, spice and a hint of smoke. The palate is silky, mellow and fruity, with balanced peaty smoke, sweet oak and heather honey. The finish is soft and spicy, with nutmeg, pepper and gentle lingering smoke.
