Smoke & Dagger is a blended Scotch whisky from Black Bottle, number four in its Alchemy Series, bottled at 46.3% ABV. It is an experimental recipe that sets smoky layers against sweet notes, opening with salty smoke before creamy salted caramel arrives. The nose has muted peat smoke, charcoal, soft spices and a hint of toasted sugar. The palate is fuller and darker, with smoke, caramel, burnt oak and cocoa, and a slightly salty edge. The finish is long and warm.
