Black Bull 40 Year Old Batch 7 (Duncan Taylor)

This is Batch 7 of Black Bull 40 Year Old, a blended Scotch whisky from Duncan Taylor. Every whisky in the blend has been aged for at least 40 years, and the recipe is 86% single malt and 14% single grain. The malts include Macallan, Bowmore, Highland Park, Glenfarclas, Glenlivet and Aberlour, among others. The grain whiskies come from distilleries such as Caledonian, Carsebridge, Girvan and Invergordon. On the palate it is described as dried fruits, polished oak, dark chocolate, honey, toffee, gentle spice, roasted nuts and soft smoke, with a long finish.
