Black Saddle 12 Year Old is a Kentucky straight bourbon, matured for at least 12 years in charred American oak casks and bottled at 90 proof. It has a rich amber colour.
The aroma is spicy nougat, crème brûlée and hard candy, giving way on the palate to pepper, toasted cinnamon and hints of vanilla. In 2014 it won a Double Gold Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition, where it was named Best Small Batch Bourbon.
