Angel's Envy Port-Finished Bourbon is a Kentucky straight bourbon from Louisville Distilling Company in Louisville, Kentucky, bottled at 43.3% ABV in a 750ml bottle. This edition carries a custom Happy New Year engraving.
The bourbon is aged in new charred American oak, then transferred to ruby port wine casks from Portugal for its finish.
The nose is usually described as vanilla, raisins, maple syrup and toasted nuts with a soft note of port. On the palate come ripe fruit, vanilla, maple, bitter chocolate and smooth oak, followed by a clean, lingering finish of gentle port sweetness and warm spice.
