Angel's Envy Port-Finished Bourbon is a Kentucky straight bourbon from Louisville Distilling Company, bottled at 43.3% ABV in a 750ml bottle. This edition carries a custom festive Christmas engraving.
The bourbon is aged in new charred American oak, then moved into ruby port casks from Portugal. The port finish adds dark fruit, raisins and maple sweetness over the bourbon base.
The nose is vanilla, raisins, maple syrup and toasted nuts, the palate ripe fruit, bitter chocolate and smooth oak, and the finish clean and lingering, with soft port sweetness and warm spice.
