Angel's Envy Port-Finished Bourbon is a Kentucky straight bourbon from Louisville Distilling Company in Louisville, bottled at 43.3% ABV (86.6 proof) in a 75cl bottle. This edition carries a custom Thanksgiving engraving.
The bourbon is aged in new charred American oak, then finished in ruby port casks from Portugal. The company was founded by the late Master Distiller Lincoln Henderson with his son Wes.
The nose is vanilla, raisins, maple syrup and toasted nuts with a soft ruby port influence. The palate brings ripe fruit, vanilla, maple, bitter chocolate and smooth oak. The finish is clean and lingering, with soft port sweetness and warm spice.
