Blackadder A Drop of the Irish 8 Year Old Single Malt Irish Whiskey (70cl, 46%)

A Drop of the Irish is an Irish single malt selected and bottled independently by Blackadder. It is eight years old and bottled at 46% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. It has no added colouring and has not been chill-filtered, in line with Blackadder's aim of keeping the natural character of the spirit. Tasting notes describe orchard fruit, honeyed malt and vanilla on the nose, with delicate floral notes. On the palate there is ripe pear and sweet vanilla, with gentle spice and toasted oak. The finish is long and warming, with caramel, toasted nuts and lingering fruit.
