Blackadder Burnside 1988 The Legendary (53.2%)

Blackadder Burnside 1988 is a blended malt from the Raw Cask range, bottled as The Legendary. Burnside combines components from Balvenie and Glenfiddich. This one was distilled on 29 November 1988 and bottled in 2018 at 53.2% ABV, without chill filtration or added colouring. The outturn was 211 bottles. The nose is honeyed, with dried apricot, orange peel, soft wood spices, aged oak and a light waxy note. The palate is full and rounded, with ripe stone fruit, toffee, spicy oak and soft malt. The finish is long and warm, with lingering spice and a dry wood note.
