This Blackadder Raw Cask Auchentoshan is a Lowland single malt distilled on 9 December 1992 and bottled in May 2014, after 21 years in a hogshead. It was bottled at 54.5% ABV, without chill filtration or added colouring, in an edition of 224 bottles.
The nose is soft, with light honey, citrus zest, grassy malt and a subtle floral touch. The palate is elegant and balanced, with creamy malt, vanilla, light woody notes and a little spice. The finish is long, dry and harmonious.
