A 10 year old blended malt from Blackadder's Raw Cask range, made from Islay single malts vatted into a single Oloroso cask. It is bottled at cask strength in a 70cl bottle, with 703 bottles produced.
The whisky was matured for ten years and then finished in Oloroso sherry. The finish adds depth while leaving the smoke, power and structure at the centre.
The nose is smouldering peat, campfire and ash with dark fruit, sherry, tar, leather and tobacco. The palate is oily and salty, with burnt wood, espresso, bittersweet chocolate, figs and raisins. The finish is long, warming and smoky.
