Blackadder Raw Cask Smoking Islay 11 Year Old Blended Malt (70cl, 59.5%)

A peated blended malt Scotch whisky made from the whisky of two Islay distilleries and bottled by Blackadder in its Raw Cask series. This 11 year old was distilled in 2012 and bottled in 2024 at 59.5% ABV, in a 70cl bottle, under cask reference SI2024-01. The release is 694 bottles. Raw Cask bottlings keep the cask sediment and the natural oils and fats that would otherwise be left behind when cask-strength whisky is filled straight from the cask. Blackadder describes Smoking Islay as the pinnacle of very smoky Islay malt whisky.
