Blairmhor 8 Year Old is a pure malt Scotch whisky, a blend of around 20 single malts, most of them from Speyside. It was bottled in the 1980s by R. Carmichael & Sons Ltd. at 40% ABV. The nose is full-bodied, with dried mixed peels, malted barley and a touch of smoke, while gentle peat adds depth. On the palate, spice, peat and barley sit alongside honey, with hints of caramel and cooked pear and a slightly bitter edge. The finish is long and malty, with oak, honey and a peppery tartness.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
