A single barrel Kentucky straight bourbon from Blanton's, made at Buffalo Trace and produced in 2014 for the M&P Wine & Spirits Festival in Poland. It comes in a 70cl bottle.
The barrel was taken from Warehouse H, the only metal-clad warehouse on the property, which Colonel Albert Blanton identified as producing the finest bourbon there.
The nose is powerful and dry, with honey, rye, dried fruit, vanilla and chocolate. The palate is full and rich, with apricot, butter, pepper, honey and oak. The finish is long, with toffee apples developing into pecan and caramel.
