Blanton's Bourbon 2024 Special Edition 40th Anniversary (75cl)

This is the 2024 Special Edition of Blanton's Bourbon, a Kentucky straight single barrel bourbon from the Buffalo Trace distillery in Frankfort, in a 75cl bottle. It marks the 40th anniversary of Blanton's Original Single Barrel, introduced on 10 September 1984 as the first commercially marketed single barrel bourbon. Master Distiller Elmer T. Lee developed the idea of drawing one individual barrel rather than blending, and presenting its own character to drinkers. The anniversary edition is the official commemorative expression for four decades of that category.
