Blanton's Original Single Barrel Bourbon is a bourbon in a 70cl bottle, closed with the brand's distinctive wax seal. Each bottle comes from a single barrel.
Single barrel bourbon dates back to 1984, when the owners of Ancient Age Distillery, now Buffalo Trace Distillery, set out to make a premium product.
The nose is spicy, with dried citrus, orange peel and a hint of caramel and vanilla. The palate is full and soft, with burnt sugar, caramel, orange and cloves. The finish is balanced, with vanilla, honey and citrus.
