Blanton's Red Label is a single barrel Kentucky straight bourbon in a 75cl bottle at 46.5% ABV, aged for a minimum of 8 years. Each bottle is hand-bottled and hand-labelled, and topped with a horse and jockey stopper.
The colour is a warm maple. The nose carries caramel, vanilla, chocolate fudge, cherry pipe tobacco and a hint of honey.
On the palate there are brown butter and clove, toasted oak, dark chocolate and a subtle spiciness, with marmalade, toffee and wild honey.
