Blanton's Straight From Barrel (70cl, 63.5%)

Blanton's Straight From Barrel is a single barrel bourbon, taken directly from the cask into a 70cl bottle at 63.5% vol. Because each bottling comes from an individual barrel, small differences from one bottle to the next are possible. The horse and jockey on the stopper is the emblem of the brand. A collectable set of eight different stoppers has been made since 1999, each marked with a letter that spells out the name Blanton's. It is sweet, with vanilla and citrus. The finish brings a little oak, raisins and a subtle smokiness that stays on the palate for a long time.
