Blanton's Straight From The Barrel is the cask strength expression of Blanton's single barrel bourbon, distilled at Buffalo Trace in Frankfort, Kentucky. This is the 2018 'Greek' edition, made for the Greek market and sold in a 700ml bottle. It was bottled at its natural barrel strength of 64.8% ABV (129.6 proof), without dilution or chill filtration. The nose is rich caramel, vanilla, orange peel, dark chocolate and warm baking spice. The palate is powerful and concentrated, with toffee, dark fruit, charred oak and cinnamon. The finish is long and smooth.
