Blanton's Straight From The Barrel is a straight bourbon bottled at 61.9% ABV, without reduction and without cold filtration. It comes in a 70cl bottle. Blanton's was the first brand to offer barrel-by-barrel bottlings, and each batch is produced at the Buffalo Trace distillery. The bourbon is described as tangy, with notes of honey, candied fruit and nutmeg. On the nose it shows honey, tobacco and caramel, with wood and vanilla. The palate is rich and creamy, with lemon, butter and spice, leading to a long finish of peach and lemon.
