Blanton's The Original Single Barrel Bourbon

Blanton's The Original Single Barrel is a bourbon bottled from a single barrel, with no blending. It was launched commercially in 1984 as the world's first single barrel bourbon. The barrels are chosen from the middle sections of Warehouse H. The bottle has a rounded, faceted shape and a stopper topped with a horse and jockey. The nose opens with creamy vanilla, caramel and butterscotch, then clove, nutmeg, cinnamon, toasted oak and citrus. The palate is sweet and full, with honey, burnt sugar, vanilla, corn and spiced orange peel. The finish is medium to long and warm, with corn and nutmeg returning.
