Booker's Bourbon 2023-02 "Apprentice Batch"

Booker's Bourbon 2023-02 "Apprentice Batch" is the second release in the Booker's 2023 Collection. The batch pays homage to the early career of Booker Noe, who learned the craft of bourbon making from his cousin Carl Beam after starting at the Jim Beam Distillery in Clermont in 1952. It is made up of barrels aged in six different warehouses, and the bourbon spent seven years in white oak. The liquid is a medium amber. The nose is oak-forward, with vanilla and toasted nuts, and the long finish does not overpower the warm taste.
