This is a straight wheat whiskey from Boot Hill Distillery in Dodge City, Kansas, bottled at 50% ABV in a 750ml bottle. The mash is 100% hard red winter wheat, grown on the family's own Kansas farm.
The spirit is cut narrowly from the run and aged for over two years in new American white oak barrels.
The nose is described as caramel, chocolate, bergamot and balsa wood with vanilla. On the palate come brown butter, dried fruit, breakfast tea, brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg over cereal grain. The finish brings cereal, allspice, caramel and soft leather.
