Boot Hill White Whiskey is an unaged-style whiskey from Boot Hill Distillery in Kansas, made from the same heavy-wheat bourbon mash bill as the brand's bourbon. It spends just one week in charred American white oak before bottling, and comes in a 75cl bottle.
It won a silver medal at the 2017 Washington Cup Spirits Competition.
The nose is strong grain with a sweet undertone: corn, black pepper and fresh-baked bread. The palate opens with vanilla, then black pepper and oak, with lasting yeast and brown sugar.
