Boot Hill Straight Wheat Whiskey is a Kansas whiskey made entirely from hard red winter wheat grown on the distillery's own farm. It was aged for over two years in new American white oak and bottled at 50% in a 75cl bottle.
The wheat leads, giving deep cereal sweetness with developing oak character.
The nose brings caramel, chocolate, bergamot, vanilla, brown butter and leather. On the palate come grape nuts, breakfast tea, brown sugar, cinnamon and granola, and the finish closes on cereal, allspice, caramel and soft leather.
