Bowmore The Devil's Cask Release 2 is the second release in this series from the Islay distillery. It is a 10 year old single malt bottled at a cask strength of 56.3%, non-chill-filtered and with no added colour.
It matured solely in first-fill Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez sherry casks.
The nose has dark chocolate, dried fruit, cinnamon and strong peat smoke. The palate is full and layered, with raisins, toasted oak, dark caramel, sherry and smoke. The finish is long, warm and sweet, with smoke and spice.
