Bowmore 12 Year Old Sherry Oak Cask is a single malt Scotch whisky from Islay, matured in Oloroso sherry casks and bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The sherry casks bring rich fruit alongside a note of smoke, and the colour is a deep amber.
The nose offers vanilla, caramel, red berries and marzipan. On the palate come ripe pears, peaches, lemon juice, toasted almonds and cinnamon, leading to a long, spicy finish with gentle peat smoke.
