Bowmore 15 Year Old is a single malt from the Isle of Islay, bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is matured in ex-bourbon casks and then finished in Oloroso sherry casks.
The nose is smoky, with sweet dark fruit such as raisins and plums and a light spiciness behind. On the palate smoke comes with sweet, fruity flavours, sherry sweetness and some spice. The finish is long, with a gentle dryness and a light smokiness.
