Bowmore 15 Year Old Sherry Oak Cask is an Islay single malt aged for at least fifteen years. It matured in European oak Oloroso sherry casks and American oak ex-bourbon casks, then was finished in European oak casks seasoned with Oloroso sherry.
The nose has moist Corinth raisins and sweet dates, with cinnamon, dark chocolate and a little smoke. The palate brings cedarwood, treacle toffee, boiled sweets, clove and liquorice root. The finish is rich and wooded, with sweet spice.
