A 15-year-old Islay single malt from Bowmore, bottled at 43% ABV.
The whisky matured partly in bourbon casks and partly in sherry casks, with the last three years in oloroso. The colour is a deep, bright amber.
The nose brings dark chocolate, sun-dried fruit and a light touch of smoke. On the palate the smoke stays in the background, with cedar wood and toffee coming through. The finish is dry and complex, with the sherry clearly present.
