This is an 18 year old Islay single malt from Bowmore, distilled in 1971 and bottled for the Italian independent Sestante. It was released in the late 1980s and comes in a 75cl bottle at 57.1% ABV.
The nose is typically described as peat and charcoal smoke alongside passion fruit and mango, with hints of dry sherry, chocolate and espresso. The palate is jammy, with tropical fruit, peat and pepper. The finish is long, peaty and spicy, ending on a peppery aftertaste.
