This is a 30 year old Bowmore distilled in 1984 and matured in Bourbon casks that rested in the distillery's No.1 Vaults. It was bottled in 2014 at cask strength, 47.6% ABV, in a 70cl bottle, and only 500 bottles were released.
The whisky has a deep gold colour. The nose offers citrus and mint dark chocolate, while the palate is made up of honey and hints of ginger. The finish brings elegant fruits and spices with dark chocolate.
