Bowmore 20 Year Old is an Islay single malt distilled in 1965 and bottled at cask strength, 49.1% ABV, in a 75cl bottle. Gordon and MacPhail bottled it in the mid 1980s for the Italian importer Sestante.
The nose is passion fruit with bitter dark chocolate and good Italian coffee. The palate is full fruit jam with white pepper, in a compact, satisfying body that is a little on the dry side.
