Bowmore 21 Year Old is an Islay single malt with a deep autumnal colour. It was aged in hand-selected ex-bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks, then finished in first-fill Pedro Ximénez sherry wood.
The nose combines tobacco leaf and heather with toffee treacle and beeswax. The palate mixes sweetness, barbecued meat and berries with a hint of salty smoke. The finish is rounded, with sweet woods and gentle smoke that linger.
