This is a 25 year old Bowmore single malt, bottled in 2002 at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It matured in North American bourbon and Spanish sherry casks.
In the glass it is a mellow mahogany. Toffee and hazelnut are bound together by sweet peat smoke.
The nose is intense sherry and stewed fruits with a trace of Bowmore smokiness. The palate offers toffee and hazelnut with a hint of sweet peat smoke, and the finish is mellow, gentle and complex.
