Bowmore Aged 30 Years is an Islay single malt at 43% ABV, known as the Sea Dragon after the mythical beast on its black ceramic bottle and box.
It first appeared in the mid 1990s and is made entirely from long-aged casks from 1960s vintages.
The nose is tropical fruit with citrus, apricot and melon, and whiffs of smoke that take on a coastal note. The palate is creamy and coating, with fruit liqueurs, quince jelly, kiwi juice and lemon zest, and a pleasant bitterness runs through to a light finish.
