Bowmore – Devils Cask II Second Release (70cl, 56.3%)

Bowmore Devils Cask II is a 10 year old Islay single malt, the second release of the Devils Cask series, which was issued in 2014 as one of three limited bottlings. It is bottled at 56.3% ABV in a 70cl bottle, and 6,000 bottles were released. The name draws on a local legend in which the Devil, chased by townspeople into the Bowmore distillery after visiting the town's round church, escaped to the mainland in a cask of Bowmore. This second release is described as a little sweeter than the first.
