A single cask Bowmore from Islay, bottled for the Montgomerie's Rare Select range at 25 years old and 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The whisky was filled in April 1991 and bottled in April 2016.
The nose has smoky peat over creamy, sweet malt with lemon and grapefruit. The palate is round and citrusy, well balanced with gentle peat smoke, and the finish is gentle, smoky and spicy.
