A Bowmore single malt from Islay, bottled in the 1960s as an official distillery release at 43% in a 757ml bottle. It takes its name from the traditional ship motif, which fills the whole label instead of sitting in a small crest. The nose is grassy with only light smoke, with mineral notes of oil, stone, lamp petrol and clay, alongside ripe apple and pear. The palate brings plenty of fruit and smoke before turning dusty and drying, with hints of green olive. The finish is short, with a note of cardboard.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
