Bowmore Timeless 29 Year Old is a limited edition Islay single malt from casks filled in 1991 and 1992. It was matured in sherry-seasoned European oak and ex-bourbon American oak, and bottled at a cask strength of 53.7%.
Bowmore has stood on the shores of Loch Indaal since 1779.
The nose offers dark fruits, cocoa, bitter orange, cherry blossom and liquorice. On the palate there is rich sweetness with peat and sea salt. The finish warms the mouth, then turns drying and peaty, with salt on the lips and a long close.
