Braeval – (Braes of Glenlivet) 14 Year Old 2010 Infrequent Flyers (58.9%)

This is a 14 year old Speyside single malt from Braeval, distilled in 2010 and bottled by the Alistair Walker Whisky Company for its Infrequent Flyers series. It was matured in a single Oloroso sherry puncheon and bottled at a cask strength of 58.9% ABV. Just 653 bottles were filled. The long maturation in active sherry wood is said to add depth, texture and complexity to Braeval's elegant, fruit-driven spirit.
