Bruichladdich 10 Years Old is a single malt Scotch whisky from Islay, in a 1980s decanter holding 75cl at 43% ABV.
The nose shows ripe tropical fruit, including pineapple, melon and peach, with marzipan, honey, white chocolate, creamy vanilla, macadamia and oatmeal biscuits. The palate is dry and oily, with honeycomb, caramel and apricot, balanced by a coastal sea-salt character, mineral notes, white pepper, fennel and a little oak.
The finish is medium to long, pleasantly sweet and dry, with oak, a note of old paper from age in the bottle and a soft, spiced warmth.
