Bruichladdich – 10 Years The Classic Laddie (70cl, 50%)

A ten-year-old Islay single malt from Bruichladdich, bottled at 50% in a 70cl bottle. It is the distillery's flagship, a nod to the classic style of the distillery founded in 1881, and it carries a 10-year age statement from 2025. Former Master Distiller Jim McEwan revived the spirit of the old distillery in this floral, elegant malt. It is made from Scottish barley grown by selected farmers, distilled very slowly and matured in hand-picked oak casks in a warehouse on the shore of Loch Indaal. The nose has freshly picked wildflowers, buttercup, mandarin, honey and caramelised fruit. Sweet oak and barley meet an Atlantic breeze on the palate, and the finish is long, silky and fresh.
