This is a Bruichladdich single malt from the Micro-Provenance Series, a 12 year old from the 2006 vintage and bottled in 2019. It is bottled at 58.4% ABV in a 70cl bottle, and the outturn was 282 bottles.
The whisky was matured in Sauternes cask number 3142.
Tasting notes describe a nose of sweet apricot, dessert wine, pears and grapes with a hint of light rubber. On the palate, pears have an almost evaporating texture, and with water vanilla and light tannins appear. The finish brings pears and dry mineral notes.
