Bruichladdich – 18 Year Old (70cl, 50%)

Bruichladdich 18 Year Old is a single malt whisky bottled at 50% in a 70cl bottle. It is the first release of the distillery's bourbon matured expression. After maturing in bourbon casks, the whisky was given a further finish in Willi Opitz Pinot Noir casks, and crisp tropical fruit comes through. The nose is woody and grassy, with berry and orchard fruits and a clear wine character. The palate brings tropical fruit with vanilla, citrus and malt, and the long, juicy, chewy finish ends with citrus.
